Maxim Manufacturing, a small, family owned company located in rural Mississippi, employs local people who live on family farms. One of our farm-dwelling employees, Claude, needed a birthday present for his wife, Anne, who wanted a garden cart that would be sturdy enough for real farm work, while being flexible enough to move from bee yard to garden, from orchard to fence building, and from landscaping duties to feed and wood hauling.

After searching, he was unable to find that perfect cart, so decided to design and build a cart that would be sturdy enough and flexible enough for their farm.
